You bet we need to start worrying about our credit… it affects so much of our lives. It really affects our ability to get credit, buy a home, a car or in some cases get a job. Right. Folks are generally willing to repay their debts, but they need a little reasonable thinking from the mortgage companies about the amount of profit they can make from them. If your home is “underwater”, chances are, loads of others in their neighborhoods are too. So, this is the risk the mortgage companies take every time they loan money. Now, they have to accept that the risk hasn’t paid off. It’s like losing at the casino. Sorry ’bout your luck, but don’t blame it all on the homeowner.
